Orange Pancake Sauce

INGREDIENTS
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 1 (8 oz.) can pineapple tidbits, drained
  • 1 medium banana, sliced
DIRECTIONS
  1. In a small saucepan, combine sugar and cornstarch. Stir in orange juice.
  2. Cook and stir over medium heat until thickened & bubbly.
  3. Cook and stir 2 minutes more.
  4. Remove from heat.
  5. Stir in margarine and pineapple.
  6. When sauce is warm, stir in banana and pour over pancakes.
