Basic Biscuits

My son and I enjoy eating these with butter and jelly, or butter and a little cinnamon/sugar. These are fairly plain, but are also a good biscuit for gravy.

2 cups flour
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. 1/3 cup cold butter
1/2 cup milk
  1. Mix together flour, baking powder, salt and sugar.
  2. Cut in butter until mixture becomes coarse crumbs,.
  3. Add milk and stir.
  4. Knead mixture and roll out to 1/2 inch thickness.
  5. Cut out biscuits.
  6. Bake at 425 degrees for 13-15 minutes.

ENJOY! (Picture soon to come)
